Recently, reports of David Duchovny's sexual addiction have surfaced.  The speculations have so far ranged from Duchovny having a string of extramarital affairs to the more mundane claim of the actor's fascination to Internet porn.  Some people think that this is a case of life imitating art, as Duchovny plays the role of womanizer, Hank Moody, in Showtime's uber-sexy series, Californication (a role in which Duchovny earned a Golden Globe for).  And as an extension of this view, others see Duchovny as a method actor, someone going through a process in order to perfect his craft, an artist willing to go through the necessary motions to achieve the most plausible depiction of a role he has sought to play.  Hmm…isn't that a role we all would love to play?

Using this application, simply hold the phone to the music and within seconds, you'll know the artist and track name. You can even build your own soundtrack by saving your tag history, buy the track from iTunes, see related videos on YouTube, and
send the music tags to your friends via email.

For the movie aficionados out there, yet another source for streaming movies. With hundreds of movies to choose from, the movie addict need not leave the comfort of their own home to watch even newly released films. Movies are hosted by sites such as Youku, Megavideo, Veoh, among others. The advantage of using this site from other streaming sources is that the user does not need to install the Veoh player. This is expecially good for the Mac users out there since Veoh does not have a plugin available for Apple products yet.

Ever since I can remember, I've always preferred the nighttime to daytime.  Growing up, I have memories of my grandmother rousing me out of bed at noon, reprimanding me for staying up late again and not being able to wake up early enough for breakfast.  At that time, the reason why I'd be up late was because I was hungrily devouring a Mario Puzo or  Harold Robbins novel, under the covers with the aid of a flashlight.  This was before my tenth birthday, so I guess reading a book of that sort, at that age, was better accomplished under the covers rather than in broad daylight.

I have no such excuse at this time, now that I'm old enough to read soft-core porn novels, among other things.  The best I can come up with would be partying until the wee hours, dancing the night away, drinking the blues away.  The best thing about this is that now, I know that I would be reprimanded by no one and that there are other people who share the very same affliction of being unable to sleep at night.  I have late night text and email buddies I can commiserate with.  But of course, there are nights (or early mornings, more appropriately, I guess) when the rest of the world is asleep and friends from the other side of the globe are just too busy working, living their normal a.m. lives to chat with you.   What now, you say?  Well, one can read a book, or surf the Internet to one's heart's content.  Problem solved.
